Wax it all

I am at an age where, when I got married, I registered for gifts for things you wanted to start your own home. And back then, the only pans that you wanted were Revere Ware. They were considered the best back then and are still considered safe cookware. How many of you still have your set? I do, and though I also have Calphalon, I always reach for my Revere Ware first. I love the insulated handles, knobs on the lids, and the even cooking copper bottoms. Plus, they are so much lighter than my other pans, and I can use metal utensils when I am cooking. So, the other day I was looking at my pans and noticed the handles and knobs were all faded. This is because I put everything in my dishwasher. I was wondering – how can I make these look better?
Underneath my sink, I keep Wax It All by Howard’s. It is a food-grade paste wax that can be used on many surfaces, not just wood. Of course, you can use it on cutting boards, charcuterie boards, butcher-block utensils, or wooden bowls. Wax It All is a formula of mineral oil, beeswax, and carnauba wax, which will enhance any species of wood, no matter the shape it is in.
But wood is not the only thing you can use this wax on. You can use it on concrete countertops in your kitchen or outdoor kitchen. You can use it on metal. It will make your stainless steel sink glow and cover up a multitude of scratches. Or polish your faucets. It does wonders for aluminum, like on your glass shower door hardware. And it works on patio furniture. I have powder-coated outdoor furniture that holds up so well, but it does get a dried-out look. If you apply this wax, it will intensify and bring out the original color, making the furniture look even better. Do you have a granite composite sink? Has it lost the deep color that it used to have? Use Wax It All on the sink, and it will look like when you first installed it. Soapstone looks renewed with this wax. And the nice part is that this wax is food safe.
To apply Wax It All, just use a soft cloth. You can use a paper towel, but I get better results and more product on my project. Rub it in and let it work. Then buff off. That’s it! And that's what I did on my Revere Ware. I polished the knobs and handles, and they looked new again. You can reapply anytime the knobs and handles start to look dull again. Now, if the copper bottoms of your pans look bad, you can clean them with Delete Germ. Yes, the same Delete Germ that I told you to clean your toilets with. Just put a stream on the copper bottom of the pan, start cleaning immediately, use a Scotch-Brite sponge, and then rinse thoroughly. Make sure you completely rinse out your sponge and don’t leave any Delete Germ residue lingering in the sink.
I have had many of you call me to ask whether Trudy’s Headlight Magician is ready to order. You have been so kind with your comments, and I am thrilled you are having great success. My sales tax number isn't ready yet... all my fault... so if you need more free samples, I have added more to the website. You can order one per customer, only paying shipping.
Now to the email….
Question: We had some roofers who repaired my home. They left some roofing tar on the driveway. Then we had company, and that tar was tracked into the house on the carpet. I have tried everything, and nothing has helped remove the stain. Do you have a product that would clean the stain?
Answer: Contractors De-Solv-it. It removes roofing tar. Work in a small area and test using this product. Spray the area and then start cleaning, working towards the middle of the stain. I like to use a plastic putty knife. Push the putty knife down to the bottom of the carpet and bring it to the center of the stain. Work all around the stain. This will remove the stain from the bottom of the carpet fibers, so it does not reappear. Then blot with a white towel. Good luck!
