Two for the Season
This cold season leaves my skin almost unbearable. How about you? If I don’t catch it quick, I usually end up at my dermatologist’s office needing a prescription. However, if I start using the Medline Skin Repair Cream the minute this wintry weather starts, I’m good. But Medline is not just for dry skin from chilly weather.
Are you still washing your hands more now than ever? Maybe you’re in retail and use hand sanitizer every time you wait on a customer. Or just a consumer, that is out shopping during this holiday season. Hand sanitizer products dry out your skin. They might kill germs, but they can make your skin miserable. Medline is a great moisturizer that restores balance to your skin. It will protect and relieve the drying effect of sanitizer and continuous hand washing. We may have said goodbye to Covid, but this is the flu season, and we are all tired of being sick. So, we take careful precautions to protect ourselves or others.
What I like about Medline is there is very little fragrance. So, it doesn’t bother those with sensitive noses. Nurses love Medline because it doesn’t degrade latex gloves. In fact, we were in a hospital with Dad when I found out about Medline. He had taken a little tumble. I went to his room, and I was expecting maybe a quiet somber time. I was wrong. He and the nurse were chatting it up and laughing. Dad was super excited about the product she had used on the skin tear he had. His skin looked so much better, and he looked at me and announced he wanted to start carrying Medline for all his readers. That was just like Dad, taking a hospital visit, and turn it into an opportunity to help others.
There is another product I want to remind you about. Two Old Goats. I know it’s a really strange name. But I can tell you, if sore joints and muscles give you pain, this product offers help. It is made with soothing goat's milk, and therapeutic oils. It helps with arthritis, backaches, strains, bruising and cramps. The essential oils include lavender, chamomile, rosemary, peppermint, and eucalyptus. You can use the lotion formula as much as you want during the day or night. Reading the reviews, it’s great to use on your feet when you go to bed. I love the fragrance of Two Old Goats. It smells like a spa. My mom had to have knee surgery about two years ago. But she had put it off for three years before that. She always had Two Old Goats in her purse and would use it whenever she was in pain. She showed it to her doctor, he looked at it and said there was nothing in it that would help. When he left the room, the nurse looked at her and said it was an excellent product that many of her patients used.
Just a reminder, if you want The Best of Johnnie Chuoke Vol XII, order it now and you still get it before Christmas. They make great gifts. Ask me to personalize and I will be happy to do it for you.
It’s on the website and on Amazon.
Now to the email….
Question: I keep dog food in my garage. And I have noticed rodent activity trying to chew through the plastic containers I keep it in. I don’t want to put out poison. Do you have a good rodent repellent that you can recommend?
Answer: Let me tell you a story – I have always wanted to have an area in the store that sells bird seed and accessories. There was only one problem, we would have more birds interested in the bird seed, if you get my drift. We never have a problem with rodents, until we try and keep seed in stock. Then at the last Do It Best show I ran across a vendor that sold rodent repellent. At his booth there was a video running of a warehouse of bird seed that was being overrun with mice. They were destroying hundreds of dollars of inventory. Then as the video moved forward several days it showed reduced rodent activity, until there was none. It was the best way to show how well his product works. I ordered some for my customers and some for my store use. Today we have bird seed in the store with NO problems with rodents.
