NEW PRODUCT! Morgan's Repellant

Morgan’s Repellent

Last week I talked about giving you some tips in reviving your lawn because I thought the weather was going to cool off down to the low 90’s or high 80’s…..since it’s fall. But in South Texas, what does that really mean? Usually nothing. It’s so disappointing. But it is what it is, so I am going to wait just a few more weeks before we deep dive into saving the yard. But here is the good part, it’s just two products.

When I talk about pest control, I get so many questions. It seems that mice don’t care whether you have a million dollar home, or your living in a small condo, they are equal opportunity pests. And they can invade not only homes, but businesses too. And that’s what brings me to this article…..no we don’t have mice running around the store, but we have an occasional occurrence if I try to bring in bird seed. And customers are always asking me about bird seed. We have feeders, but no seed and what kind of sense does that make? It doesn’t. I always have had to send them down the street, about 3 miles away to purchase somewhere else. Well that’s not very convenient for my customers. But at the last Do It Best show in Indy a couple of weeks ago, I came across a new vendor. Morgan’s Repellent for mice and rats. Well we see repellents all the time, but this vendor had the video to back up his claims. And his video shows a warehouse that housed ….yes you guessed it….bird seed! Well without getting crude, I watched a warehouse overrun with mice and rats, eating the inventory. And then I noticed the video was time stamped and in several days, the mice were gone. Hallelujah!

Morgan’s Repellent is a true repellent. I like recommending a repellent instead of a poison because I have never had good results with poison. How many of you have been on your last nerve and made the decision to place out poison. And then mice die, but they die in the walls or the attic and your whole house smells for 90 days. So if I can get mice to move along instead camping out, I’m all in. So let me tell you how to use Morgan’s Repellent, because there is a method.

First of all it comes in a 2.5 ounce container that will last you 90 days. That container will cover a 400 square ft area. It’s made from essentials oils and comes in three scents. The scent of the repellent is infused in pumice stones. And that deters children and pets from being interested in the product. You can use it in the garage, attic, storage shed, boat house and storage containers. And you want to place the repellent about 48 to 96 inches above the floor line. I know that surprised me too. But here is the reason, if you put the repellent down on the ground, you might block their exit strategy. And we don’t want to do that.

Morgan’s comes in three scents, garlic, peppermint/cinnamon and clove. They all work the same, it’s just a preference decision for you. And if you are a business owner, and sometimes see activity, try this new repellent in your business. Use it in chicken coops, horse barns, feed storage and business storage. I’m going to use it in my warehouse. I will let you know my results. Be proactive and place it in the garage before you see any activity, before they do any damage, before they scare the life out of you when you see them scurry across the floor. They are on the website and will retail for 15.99. Call me if you have any questions about this product.

 Now to the email…..

Question: My sweet dad has some neuropathy in his hands and is having a tough time hanging on to his phone and his iPad. Do you have any ideas on how I can make his grip a little better with a product? I don’t know if there is – but if anyone knows, you do.

Answer: I would use Gription Tape on the back and sides of his phone. It has a friction feel and only needs the lightest touch to be able to keep control. Hope this helps. Comes in two colors and you can trim with a pair of scissors.
