Getting rid of odors is always a challenge – whether it’s a persistent odor, a food odor, or a pet odor picking the answer is difficult because of all the choices now a days. So how do you pick the odor right neutralizer? Let me give you a few ideas.
Eco-Friendly is a couple of words that are thrown around a lot in this world. Living green is more than a fad or trend, it’s a lifestyle choice. For just general odors in rooms, I like to use the gels. Choose which fragrance to use in your room. Remove the cap and tear off the foil lid and then replace the cap. The plant oils neutralize odor molecules dissolving and leaving behind a breath of fresh air. The jar will blend seamlessly when placed on a shelf or countertop.
To target odors in the air or linens Fresh Wave makes a spray. Use it in pet areas. Spray pet beds, cat trees, furniture, and drapes to eliminate odors at the source. Question: We have a handle on the front door that is getting harder and harder to open. It will open just fine from the interior, but the button on the outside latch doesn’t always open the door. Can I fix that or just replace the door latch.
Answer: Take the knob on the inside of the door off. This will expose the guts of the lock. Spray it with Tri-Flow. Do not use WD40. Tri -Flow is like Teflon, liquid ball bearings in a can. It won’t attract dust like WD40. After spraying the inside put the lock back together. You will get another couple of years out of your door lock. Tri-Flow is also good for spraying your keys, it will make your lock easier to open. If you have a sliding glass door that doesn’t want to open – clean the tracks to remove all the dust and debris. Spray the track a little bit at a time and work the door back and forth to get Tri-Flow into all the rollers.
